TrailMaster Throttle Position Sensor - TPS for Trailmaster EFI vehicles.  It is responsible for monitoring the position of the throttle valve and relaying that information to the engine control module (ECM). The ECM uses this data to calculate the appropriate amount of fuel and air that needs to be injected into the engine to achieve optimal performance and efficiency. The TPS is a contact-less sensor that uses a potentiometer to measure the position of the throttle valve.
