Dr. Pulley slider weight size 20x12. This product comes with eight slider weights in the package.  Traditionally, the gear ratio in the CVT is changed by the in-and-out rolling movement of the roller weights.  With the innovative Dr. Pulley sliding roller weights, the roller weights “slide” inward and outward in the Movable Drive Pulley (MDF) to change/extend the gear ratio.

  • Size: 20x12
  • Set of 8
  • Broadens your range of gear ratios
  • Increases acceleration and re-acceleration properties
  • Increases top end speed
  • Lasts longer than standard roller weights
  • U.S. Patent Number: 7,276,004

Dr. Pulley Sliders are a different style of roller and can be used with your stock variator. The unique shape offers a variety of benefits:

--Sliders engage up to 20% faster than traditional rollers. They allow you to engage in higher gear ratios.
--Sliders last longer with much less wear than rollers because they slide rather than roll (hence the name!).

Choosing a slider weight size:
- Lighter roller weights will give more climbing power at the consequence of losing some top end speed.
- Heavier roller weights will allow more top speed at the serious expense of climbing ability - but are great for flat-ground racing.
